Everything is very much quality - even the taps! The towels, robes, bedding, again, all discernibly high quality. There were lots and lots of towels which made me feel looked after. "Could not fault the welcome, hospitality, room, comfort and the food (breakfast and dinner) were fantastic, using their own produce! Lorna and Andy couldn't do enough for us and as it was cold and rainy, we had the luxury of a log burner, tea & coffee and cake in the lounge every evening when we arrived home. "You have to understand you're staying in a heritage building, within a town centre, above a busy, excellent pub/resteraunt. To some extent, the bedroom is a secondary consideration. However, staff very friendly, room warm & comfortable, food excellent and ideal for exploring Alnwick. Great stay, but don't expect the Ritz. "
