"Old but quaint hotel had 2 nights booked extended to 3 with the very helpful friendly reception staff. Very friendly & relaxed atmosphere great to see it busy had DB&B at a great price last night & the old dinning room was full. Basic British fare not really our taste but ideal for the coach trip in. Would stay again when revisit great value for money."

"We enjoyed our recent stay here. The room was excellent with a spotless new bathroom and comfortable bed. Better pillows would have been nice but not a problem for a short stay. The food was very good but the service rather slow. We weren't in any hurry but 30-40 minutes to produce breakfast after ordering seemed a bit excessive. Staff were all very friendly and helpful so positive overall."
