Staff were friendly enough and bag store was there for keeping luggage safe after checkout etc. It is run down though and if you dont like steep stairs then it's not one to visit (though this can be said of most Amsterdam hotels). "Unfortunately due to the restaurant next door the whole room smelt of curry including our sheets. The bathroom was mouldy and felt unclean. The bed was really comfortable When we walk our room a rat was in the room next to us which freaked us out and ruined our last night "

"I booked this hostel because it was closest to where my son lives. It's in a lovely neighbourhood with loads to do in the evening and good transport links into the city and convenient for visoting my son too. My room was large and very clean, and was cleaned daily during my stay which I hadn't expected. The staff are really friendly and it was perfect!"

"STAY AWAY!!! The place is a dump. There was actual poo on the floor in the restroom off the lobby. When we told them we couldn't stay because if was such a dump, they refused to refund ANY of our money even though we never stayed there. "
