Get up-close with thousands of marine animals, watch feeding demonstrations, have fun with water games and enjoy scenic picnics at this aquarium and amusement park.

Discover a fascinating world of colorful marine life at the Aquarium du Quebec (Quebec Aquarium Park). Explore the indoor and outdoor areas to spot amphibians, fish, reptiles and sea mammals. Enjoy family-friendly fun with water games and watch animal performances. The Aquarium du Quebec is home to around 10,000 animals, which represent some 300 species.

Follow the paved trails that wind around the aquarium’s exhibitions. Stroll through a tunnel and see an array of multicolored fish swim above your head. Touch stingrays, snakes and invertebrates in the discovery zones. Don’t miss the captivating display of seahorses and jellyfish.

Admire majestic polar bears and the curious Arctic fox. Experience the intelligence and friendliness of Atlantic and Pacific walruses, which live harmoniously. Marvel at the acrobatic talents of harbor seals. There’s also the chance to see animal keepers feed the polar bears, seals and walruses.

Go to the water games area for some family entertainment. Cool off on a warm day by running between the fountains and interactive canons. Kids will love the aerial pathways, climbing nets and footbridges strung out between a series of trees.

Find cafés and restaurants that serve a range of brunches, light snacks and refreshments. Alternatively, bring your own food to eat at the designated picnic areas. Sit on tree-shaded gardens and check out the uninterrupted views of the Fleuve Saint-Laurent (St. Lawrence River).

The Aquarium du Quebec is about a 15-minute drive from downtown Quebec. It’s easily reachable via public buses and trains. The nearest train station is Sainte-Foy, which is a 5-minute taxi ride or 20-minute walk away. There’s free on-site parking for bikes, buses and cars.

The aquarium is open daily, except for selected public holidays, and there’s an admission fee. Free strollers and wheelchairs are available at the main entrance. The tree-to-tree pathway and water games are open during the summer months only. Check the aquarium’s official website for the complete opening hours, admission fees and special offers.
