Dovey Inn

3.5 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (137)
"Swift and easy check-in. The family room had two bedrooms which was a very pleasant surprise. Everything was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. Could have done with a rubber bath mat but found out later we could have asked for one. Similarly de-caff tea and coffee I guess. We had our 4-year-old granddaughter with us but there were no issues with noise from the bar below. Limited menu but food was very good. Steaks were lovely. Nice pint too. Great breakfast. Tyr Graig Castle

4.0 star property
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (217)
"We had a nice stay at this hotel; friendly staff, nice food, good sized bedroom and lovely views. We had a standard turret bedroom and whilst it was spacious, the en suite was really small and felt like a shower had been squeezed into a room that used to be a toilet room. There was no space to swing an earwig let alone a cat! The toilet had a cigarette burn on it and the lid on the plastic cistern didn’t fit on the tank. There were no towel rails and no comfortable space to get dry after a...

"We stayed for just 2 nights for my birthday weekend and really enjoyed it. Would like to go back for longer in warmer weather. Great communication from the host from the beginning. Giving detailed directions and check in process. Lovely site with great play park and a swimming pool we unfortunately didn’t get chance to use the pool though. The caravan was a 2 minute walk to the beach and situated in a lovely quiet spot with nice views. The enclosed decking area is a great addition for sitting...

Lovely cottage in Snowdonia, private hot tub, by mountains & award winning beach

"Lovely and clean little cottage with open fire. Only 10 mins walk to a beautiful beach and 6 mins walk to train station - then 10 minutes train journey to Barmouth which is a lot quicker than the drive around the estuary. Great location for walks in the hills or on beaches. Host was wonderful - got in touch to explain checking in and recommended local places to visit and eat."
