The hotel was beautiful and very clean. The staff was wonderful and accommodating. The location was not that great, didn’t feel safe with graffiti everywhere dark area and didn’t feel safe walking around at night not sure how it is during the day. We got there when it was dark and left the next day it was early and dark still.

The staff was amazing. They took care of us well and when my wife was not feeling well, they showed compassion and continually asked if she needed anything. The hotel is a mile walk to the city center. We arrived on Sunday and at 11am, a parade passed the tomb of the unknown soldier. Great place, staffed by great people.

The hotel itself is nice, but in a seedy neighborhood at night. There was a large police presence in this neighborhood, so it made it feel safer.

The place itself is nice, but the area is a little questionable. We walked a few blocks to dinner and saw riot police. Fine during the day but not so much at night. However, the noise was insane. Not from the outside, but the hotel itself. All night, banging in the halls, it sounded like they were doing renovations at 2 am. Would not recommend if you need a good nights sleep.

Perfect Stay, minus Housekeeping
Our experience overall was fantastic, wonderful. All except my interaction with housekeeping. I understand why she made the request, AND, I am the guest, and they can make up/clean the room, whenever they can. I was told I need to "put out the make room sign" EARLIER. Really? How about you leave for the day, when your shift is over, and if I'd like my room made up, I'll make arrangements with the front desk. Front desk can then have the evening staff clean my room. Or....you don't have to clean my room at all. I am just not used to housekeeping telling me HOW I should have my stay. It is ridiculous. I wouldn't have been upset if they didn't clean my room for the day because I left later than normal (I left my room at 2pm). But, after she pulled me aside to tell me this, I was annoyed, not necessarily angry, but definitely not happy. Maybe tell the guests that after a certain time, that housekeeping will be gone for the day, and the room will be made up the next day, from the getgo? Thus, no need for that lecture, conversation, from housekeeping. That's all. Rest of the staff? Thank you so very much for you being you! I would definitely come back and stay at Trendy the next time I'm in Athens! Love the rest of the staff, love the location, just great experience overall.

Maria, Inia, and Tonya were absolutely amazing. My flight was leaving before breakfast and Maria kindly offered to make me a breakfast box. She was extremely sweet and so helpful. Pretty hotel and room. They also have a rooftop bar. I definitely recommend!
