Historic, renovated, outstanding service. Spotless. One of the best in 50 years of travel. But, the restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. Walk one block to Aheste Restaurant. It is excellent.

This is a hotel deeply imbued with history. The room was smallish but comfortable and clean. Great location in the heart of European Istanbul. And the breakfast was spectacular.

I enjoyed the hotel thoroughly. The room is always clean and warm, the breakfast service is impeccable and the Orient Bar is a lovely place for a nightcap. The only thing i would change is the famous cocktail - Midnight at Pera Place … i don’t think Johnny walker belongs in a cocktail but that might just be me!
