"Really good large room, very quiet, nice view "

"Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was very nice and plenty of choice, including veggie and vegan options. The room itself was a bit "tired" looking and the same goes for the bathroom - both could do with a bit of a makeover. But the bed was large, clean and comfortable and i had everything i needed for two nights."

"Lovely pub/restaurant, very homely, well decorated, tidy, clean. Staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Bit short staffed but those that worked out in extra effort so the level of service was still good. "

"It used to be the perfect place to stay in the region, but I see it starts to lose its service level. Waiting for osomeone to come to the reception for 20 minutes and it took another 20 mins to check us in...and we are regularly going there for business."

"Cromwell Lodge was good value, especially over Christmas. Staff were friendly and efficient and the room was comfortable if quite dated. The whole hotel needs a bit of a refurb, but it could be absolutely wonderful."
