"I really liked this place. The room was clean, basic, one person, large bed. What really makes this place worthwhile is the location. All sorts of beautiful pedestrian streets lined with shops are a few steps away. The big cathedral is very close, abd is truly beautiful inside. I visited in July, and there were live bands and even an all male choir performing in various spots. Lots of good food, very pretty, and close to the river. "We only stayed one night enroute home to the UK from The Algarve but we loved this hotel. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the hotel is beautiful and well located for the beach and a short walk to the busy shopping area. We pre booked to park and were able to charge our car which was much appreciated. We ate in the Hôtel restaurant and the food and service were outstanding. We are already planning to return. "
