The food dinner and breakfast was 1st class, the bar area was welcoming and clean and decor of a high standard. The bedroom was clean, classy, warm and inviting. A little tight, but well appointed and suitable for use. Clean, freshly decorated, well-appointed bathroom, excellent shower, etc. The bar area was buzzy with activity and the service was second to none. The drinks were great and the food was excellent. "

Everyone went out of their way to be kind and helpful, even helping when our plans to tour local sites got messed up by a very heavy winter storm that caused power outages. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was a bit pricey, but excellent quality and our servers could not have been better. Breakfast every morning was delicious and, again, our server was lovely. Would recommend this hotel if touring Derbyshire area. "
