"We had a wonderful stay at the shepards hut. The heating and lights had been put on reasy for our arrival as we were later than the check in time . Carol the owner had messaged me earlier in the day with directions which was a nice welcome. She had also given us a lovely recommendation for somewhere to eat that evening. "Absolutely fantastic place , couldn’t fault it if I wanted to . Really peaceful and was great just to sit back and listen to the wildlife . We also went for a walk to the waterfall. I would recommend it to anyone. Jack , the host was also fantastic, he couldn’t do enough for us . Can’t wait to return . "

"We stayed in a family room. It was motel style as in you have a private entrance. This was great as we brought our dog. The room was clean, warm, comfortable and spacious. There was an iron, ironing board, hairdryer even a small fridge and a good sized TV. Everything we needed. The bar was lovely and reasonable, however I was unaware it closed when a function is on and I found this a little disappointing. The function is loud but did finish at exactly 12. Fully recommend and will stay again as it’s great for us visiting family. "

2 day family visit.

"We spent 2 nights at the talardy in the run up to Christmas. I know the location well and is convenient access to the north wales trunk road. Our room was a decent size set up for a family of 2 adults and separate single beds for our children. It was clean with all the usual amenities. It wasn't in the room but ironing board and iron are also available on request. The bathroom was good with decent shower/bath and always hot water. Minor snags were our key cards were resetting in the morning which meant I had to pop to reception twice to have it reprogrammed. Our friends joined us for breakfast on the second day. They weren't too impressed with it but I thought breakfast was good on the whole. I ordered a cooked breakfast and you can help yourself to continental in addition with no further cost. The stay was a good one, I would recommended and would stay again. "
