"A lovely homely cottage, comfortable and well equipped, with a rather special riverside location offering views and privacy. Our first time to this area so enjoyed some river walks and hearing interesting history of Rowhedge gleaned from the very friendly locals. We only had a short stay but got a lot in , including a trip to Wivenhoe on the riverside opposite. Will definitely rebook next time we are 'out East' ."

The lane to the property was very over geown and unfortunately my husbands car (which has low clearance) was unable to get down it. But the owner soon dorted an alternative for us. The neighbours ford focus had bo problems so i would say this wont be a problem for most! Access down to views over the estuary and walks from the house was great. No wifi but perfectly good signal for 4g - or a good excuse to go off grid....

"All terrific except that one of us doesn’t sleep well in the double bed - though the mattress is very comfortable the bed frame does jiggle about every time one person moves, affecting the other. "All perfect and relaxing. Quiet rural setting that allowed us to visit all the Suffolk places we wanted to go. We walked miles through forests, across cliff tops, along country lanes and the sun was shining every day. All wonderful."

"On arrival wasnt sure what to expect but place was outstanding and clesn bed very comfortable shower amazing like a wet room design with rain head , lifts avaiable , breakfast amazing only grudge was 10 pound overnight parking charge at bnb hotel but was ok with that from the outcome of our experience "
