"Affordable and a fantastic stay. Comfy bed, clean room, amenities and convenient local food options(We had millstone family restaurant and the steak was just what I needed). Great scenic view, friendly staff. Perfect stop for a roadtrip through the blackhills and badlands. Honestly wish I could have stayed another night. "

"We moved here after staying at another facility in Lead, for one night. It was such a relief and the contrast was remarkable. Room was clean and the beds comfortable. The reception folks were all so nice and helpful throughout our stay. Our only complaint was with the blond bartender at the bar there who wouldn’t give us a simple glass of tonic without charging over $6.50 each for it. No alcohol, just tonic! Thankfully, the reception folks helped again, by sharing some coupons. But then it was mostly flat anyway, so hardly worth the trouble. The hostess at the bar, Rosemary, was super nice though- she took our order for food and called us in our room when it was ready for us to pick up, and the food was great. She also attempted to get us the tonic herself, but was unsuccessful. We would surely stay there again and recommend it to others! Bring your own tonic. ;)"

"It was a very comfortable stay close to what We wanted to visit. They offered room service if we wanted it, we were left alone which is what I liked. The only thing is every so often I would hear water that sounded like it was in the wall. Perhaps it was the plumbing. "

"The room and the breakfast was excellent, the check in staff was kind of iffy though. I couldn’t really understand his accent until he repeated his words and he was also giving me attitude when I asked him to verify what he said. Other than that it was a great stay."

"We chose this hotel based on its proximity to Mount Rushmore and surrounding sightseeing. The room was nicely appointed. Clean, bed was very comfortable. Staff was very helpful in guiding us to the best restaurants and things to do in the area."
