"I've stayed here a number of times when attending race meetings at Highlands Motorsport Park. It is only a few minutes' walk to the circuit entrance and the units are lovely. They still look and feel like new and have evrything needed. The staff are very helpfula nd friendly too. I had a great surprise this time, I was upgraded to a one-bedroom apartment from a Superior Studio. The extra space was very welcome but I was surprised to find that the combined toilet/shower/washbasin area was tiny...

"The Carrick Lodge is very close to the start of the Dunstan Lake cycle trail, a brief walk from two bicycle outfitters and across the street from several restaurants. Our room was clean, well stocked with the necessities and the small kitchen met the needs of two travelers perfectly. We'll be back to stay again."

"A very unique experience the property is kept original by the current friendly and welcoming hosts. Complimentary breakfast was a bonus. Not keen on sharing the bathroom but as staying one night it didn't really matter. No TV which was a refreshing change and chance to get away from it all.
