This unique studio is one of three units located right on the water in Bodega Bay. It's perfect spot for a romantic weekend for two. You'll enjoy INCREDIBLE sweeping and panoramic views as the house is surrounded on three sides by water! Watch the boats pass by, hundreds of birds and occasionally seals and otters pop their heads up to say hello...

You will enjoy a comfy King Size bed, modern kitchen, full bathroom with shower, and private balcony OVER THE WATER! You can cozy up by the wood stove or take advantage of the smart TV and Starlink internet & WIFI. Well behaved pets welcome with approval.

The Bays Edge is the perfect place to rest and rejuvenate, or to use as a base for exploring the Sonoma Coast. Wine tours, whale watching, world class golf, kayaking, fishing, clamming, hiking, biking, deep sea fishing, olive oil and cheese tours, kite surfing and gorgeous beaches.

Bodega Bay is located just an hour and 15 minutes from San Francisco, and less than an hour from Napa and Sonoma. The Russian River is just 15 minutes away, so there is truly something for everyone.

Originally the historic Bodega Bay Creamery house, now a vacation rental triplex. We have 3 units, all with private balconies and shared beach / water access. Our home is a QUIET, peaceful home directly on the shore of Bodega Bay. The only sounds, noise we want our guests to remember are those of bodega tides rolling in and out, birds, seals, otters and the fog horn and ocean waves crashing in the distance. Please be respectful to our neighbors and other guests. This is NOT a place to come and have a loud party.

My Birthday
This was our second time in Bodega Bay. This location was great. My husband was able to fish and go and I was able to relax. The owner is nice. It was clean and had every thing you need. Also close to restaurants and stores. I do not want to stay no where else when we return. We were right on the water.

Studio over the water
We stayed during a rainy windy cold week. There is really no heat. Only a little space heater. The wood stove works, but you have to buy your own wood. The walkway to the upstairs unit is not to code. There is no railing on one side. And you are basically walking over a roof that goes straight down to the water. It feels dangerous. The owner should be more clear about these issues. We are in our late 70’s and I wouldn’t suggest that older folks stay in this unit.

Wonderful view
Fantastic views, pelicans diving for dinner, fog coming in. Lovely to sit out on the small deck with a glass of wine. After we figured out how to heat the place, we were comfortable. The fireplace mentioned in Amenities did not exist in the studio, just the wood stove and electric heater. We didn't mind, but if you want to "cozy up by the fireplace" you might be disappointed. You have to waste a lot of water to get it hot enough to wash dishes or shower. Kitchen is pretty well equipped. The hosts were nice, and very responsive.

The suite was lovely and had all the amenities we could have wanted. The views were incredible, it felt like being in a boat in the harbor. Very quiet and peaceful. A few issues, mainly the parking is very complicated… narrow driveway and when we arrived there were 3 cars already and we had to jockey around for a spot. Also the walkway to the upstairs suite was not very safe… broken bricks, poor lighting and in need of further handrails. We could see that it is a work in progress and has a lot of potential. The owners were onsite and easy to communicate and tried hard to make our stay pleasant.

What a great large studio this is. It is magical being right on the water. Both in glorious sunlight and in fog. Nothing like it. We were not able to open windows flanking the French doors; we could not figure out the handles. A lovely place. Thank you.

Perfection!
It's just me and my pooch getting away from the heat. Three nights with a view of the bay, sea lions, birds, beautiful sunrises, and sunsets. Perfect if you need to be alone to reflect, reminisce and recharge. It's also ideal for a couple wanting to do the same. Remember, it's Bodega Bay, which is in an old town. I call it casual elegance with a twist. I can't wait for my next visit.

Great place for a weekend getaway
Hard to find so read instructions that are sent to you. Once you walk in the door, the view of the bay is the first thing you notice. The place is very cute, clean and comfortable. Great place for a weekend getaway.
