"I stayed here as a single female traveller for 2 nights whilst I visited family. It’s very convenient to reach being only 5 minutes walk from Bologna centrale station. You can reach the main square on foot in about 15 minutes and window shop on route! The room was clean and comfortable. Good waster pressure and a comfortable bed made even better by having thin washable quilts instead of wool blankets on the bed which is so much more hygienic. The breakfast was plentiful. "A charming hotel in the heart of Bologna, perfect for a short stay. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the city. While the room and bed were on the smaller side, they were comfortable enough for a one-night stay. However, the bathroom could use some improvements— the shower didn’t function properly, and we had towels for one person. For a 4-star hotel, I expected a bit better. "Everything was excellent. Really good communication before arrival with video's of how to get in and where to go. Location is perfect for exploring all the wonderful city of Bologna has to offer, literally in the main square. Windows didn't let any street noise in and room was clean and very big. "I cannot say enough wonderful things about Steam House. Valentina was amazing and made sure we were well taken care of for our stay. The staff stocks the room with an abundant selection of snacks and pastries, drinks, even a meat and cheese tray. I was worried about the lively bar just below the room, but the windows are surprisingly soundproof and we slept like logs. Quick ten minute walk to the city center and more choices for food than you'll know what to do with. Highly recommend. "
