" Good hotel in pretty area. Comfortable rooms and friendly welcome from receptionist. The room was clean with nice touches eg mini chocolate bars. Lots of parking . Only criticism about the room was that there was no milk for the tea. We had breakfast which was average, warmed up breakfast not cooked fresh, not many staff so hsd to wait. Coffee machine didn’t work but the pastries were delicious. "

"Nice and clean. Was concerned I would hear a lot of noise from the bar as needed an early night. Couldn't hear a thing, it was a Monday night but the bar was not at all empty. Breakfast in the room was a nice touch. No food at the bar, but so many eateries in the immediate vicinity, and good local recommendations from the bar staff."

"Was a bit confused to get the keys from the pub but eventually we get it sorted quickly. Staff was very friendly and room was perfect for our needs. Car park was opposite the room so could even keep an eye on my car overnight. Parking was free on the weekend."

"I would very rarely rate hotels 10 out of 10 but this was so close that I couldn't not give it full marks. The room was brilliant and the mattress and pillows in particular were the best I've had in ages. Breakfast was also good and the pub was an amazing bonus to have underneath. By the time I went to bed the pub was really quiet so I had no noise issues."
