"Cheap, affordable no friils. Staff are always wonderful. Polite, courteous and on hand to help. Motorway noise through the night can be a distraction. Ear plugs are a must for light sleepers. Carpets in need of desperate clean. Minimal TV channels to watch. Beds have lots of spring and only a thin duvet so chillier in winter, especially as it can a while for air unit to heat the room. "This is a great location! Very central and lots to do and see from this grand building. Amazing history and beautiful building which is why it is a shame that is has a few niggly points! The receptionist was friendly. I WOULD NOT advise staying for food. It was VERY basic, limited and not the best!
