"Jayden, Megan and Shawn were friendly and helpful and kind. The hotel is very very old but beautiful and the beds clean and comfortable. The hotel is right in the water so you fall asleep to water lapping at the walls. The hotel is also super convenient as it is right next to the main shopping street. Highly recommend"

"We have stayed at the Kveldsro for a week plus on two occasions, and really enjoyed ourselves each time. The hotel is not a new building, but as a result is full of character. The rooms are very comfortable and the bathrooms fairly recently updated. The dining room and many of the bedrooms have a wonderful view over the Lerwick harbour. "Would absolutely stay here again! The location is stunning and Niki is a great host. I'd never been to the UK before and forgot to specify an automatic for my car rental. She sent me taxi and bus info and had found me a new rental car with a different co (the only one who had an automatic available) by the time I got to the rental, and was also just a pleasure to talk to. Don't skip the spa, which is well-maintained and especially relaxing with its large windows facing the sea."
