"The hotel was in a brilliant location and very reasonably priced. Uniquely decorated and full of history, but also practical. The stand out feature however was how helpful, friendly and professional the staff were, from the receptionists, the manager in charge of the restaurant, and the cleaning staff. Exceptionally nice people doing a great job."

"Excellent hotel , had a superior room with a view , but the only down fall was the air con wasn’t well in the room but other from that from the spa to breakfast top notch will be definitely returning in the future , the room was cleaned to a high standard to the staff on arrival was really welcoming, "

"The staff at this hotel were amazing! It was our son’s birthday and the guest services manager Rachel went above and beyond by filling the room with surprises for him! He was absolutely delighted and so was his sister, as there were plenty of treats to share, plus a bottle of Prosecco for us! The room itself was spacious for the 4 of us, and very clean and well equipped. We had an issue with aircon but this was reported and someone was sent to try and sort it. Unfortunately they couldn’t before we left, but we were given a discount on our bill. The pool facilities were fab, very clean and lots of options like a hot tub, sauna and steam room! Plus, there were plenty of fresh towels. The breakfast buffet was fresh, varied and all allergens identified which was great as our daughter can’t have milk. Every staff member we encountered was so friendly and smiley which makes all the difference! We would definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone."
