"Fantastic overnight stay in the Bollinger room - with the most comfortable bed imaginable. We ate in the pub in the evening and got talking to the owner about Huddersfield pigeons and their (lack of) merits. Food brilliant - we chose a chicken and a lamb dish. Beautiful. Mediterranean cheesecake - pesto jus with olives and roasted tomatoesit it was not. Turns out it was Dark Fruit Berries !!! Super flavour. And sticky toffee pudding to die for ! "We had a clean cosy room with a comfortable bed and pillows with Coffee, Tea and biscuits on a Tray in the room. The hotel is on farmland, the room was very quiet at night with an owl hooting early morning. The breakfasts were very good with cereals, juices, yoghurts and pastries to choose from, followed by a good cooked English breakfast. Becky was very helpful and made all guests feel welcome.
