"Bonavista is at the edge of the tourist area, in a quiet part of Calella. 10 mins away from the beach, the same distance to the main street with the restaurants & shops. It is a very basic hotel, but very clean. Rooms were cleaned & bedding changed daily. When we arrived it was very late & the night porter opened the bar for us so we could have a beer, which was great. We asked for extra pillows & towels & received them within minutes. "We stayed in apartment 14. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay albeit the accommodation was very basic. A comfortable seating area and some updated furniture would have been great, as would some coffee pods for the machine. We also had to go and buy toilet roll as the housekeeping only came once and this was after we were due to run out! The facilities in the hotel are lovely - very clean and comfortable.
