"Everyone has been very pleasant and helpful however I was very disappointed when we tried to eat in on Saturday evening. We were never told we had to book a table nor were we informed there would be an event that evening allowing food only to be served in the bar area. We were eventually accommodated with another table being set up. However the bar was busy and it was surprising that all the coats of the event guests were hung in the bar area which certainly detracted from the ambience. I...

"Friendly staff greeted us on our arrival, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was clean, basically furnished, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Food in the restaurant was reasonably priced and very tasty. The live music on Friday night was very good and not too loud. I would highly recommend the Cambridge Ibis hotel for a weekend break."
