Terrible Experience—Do Not Stay Here Our stay at this hotel was a complete disaster from start to finish. We had booked three rooms at Terra Royal Apartments specifically for its location and pool, but less than 24 hours before check-in, we were told that due to 'pool issues,' we were being moved to another hotel with no choice in the matter. When we arrived, there was no one to greet us or help with luggage, which was extremely inconvenient as we had small children with us. The next morning, things took a turn for the worse. My wife left to grab breakfast, and when she returned, our key cards had been deactivated. We were told by the front desk that our stay had been cancelled—without any warning or explanation. After two frustrating hours of trying to get help, we were finally informed that we were accused of setting off a fire alarm while cooking—completely false. We hadn’t cooked at all, only used the kettle. In the meantime, my wife got stuck in the elevator and was rudely yelled at by staff. Once we finally received new key cards, we tried to salvage our last morning by using the pool, but security repeatedly harassed us, making us feel uncomfortable. To make matters worse, we were then kicked out of the lobby and forced to wait on the street with our children. This was by far the worst hotel experience we’ve ever had. The staff were rude, disorganized, and completely ruined the end of our holiday. Stay away from this place.

The location really can’t be beat. The waterfront and its park are directly across the street. There’s also easy access to a lot of restaurants, museums and a department store if you’re into that. The staff is phenomenal all around, but I would like to highlight that the servers and staff at their rooftop lounge were great. The room was clean and spacious and the room balcony has a great view of the river. I would definitely stay here again. And their coffee drinks are excellent.

We stayed in Can Tho primarily to visit the floating markets and see some of the Mekong delta. The hotel is a great location to do that. It is reasonably priced with a nice pool, fitness center, clean, modern rooms and located close to the river walk, restaurants and market.

This is a fantastic hotel central for trips. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Even booked my onward journey and next hotel within this group. Couldn’t recommend them enough just fabulous. Awesome location! It was an easy 5 min walk to the port where you will wait for your 5:30AM floating market journey. Night market is practically outside. Hotel is a tad older but it is still one of the best older hotels among it peers like those in Hanoi or HCMC. Breakfast buffet was bountiful, staff was very helpful and polite. Room is spacious and clean. Bathroom is nice. No black mold in shower stall. 5 stars for this fact. Cost less than $70USD/weekend night. Can’t beat that!

I have come to learn that Vietnam loves extra firm beds but I am not as much of a fan. Having said that, the bed was huge! Lovely service. Doors weren't in the best condition - broken deadlock and security lock but I did not feel unsafe. Good facilities and nice location by the city.
