"Owners care about the money only, not about the guests comfort. We were given an apartment with no hot water, and since we got to the flat late in the evening, the problem wasn’t solved until the day after, when we were told to return to the place to check out so they can clean the apartment and move us to another place. "Really great location. Right in the middle of the promenade. Lots of shops and restaurants/bakeries/coffee shops. You can walk for 5k either direction. Very clean and large apartment- we had sea view. Very well equipped. Toiletries provuded daily. Small kitchen area with everything that you need. Smart Tv. Definitely recommend. "The room was clean, but very old looking. They dud not have enough comforters for the cold. The furniture needs replacement very old and peeling, in the bathroom the countertop broken. The faucets are old and not eco at all. Not a 3 star ."

Colonial charm

"Located in the heart of the city, Boutique Hotel Cordial Malteses is perfectly positioned for exploring, with everything within walking distance. Parking is conveniently located just 5 minutes away at a paid lot (€10/day). The hotel itself could easily be a 5-star property—rooms are spacious, featuring high ceilings, designer amenities, and intricate colonial-inspired decor. The refurbishment has been done beautifully, making it feel like staying in a treasure cove. The staff are exceptional—always friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The bed was massive and incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. However, a few aspects fell short. Breakfast was disappointing, with limited options and lower-quality ingredients, more fitting for a 3-star hotel. The breakfast area was often crowded due to limited seating. Additionally, while the rooftop terrace has great potential, it feels unfinished and lacks atmosphere or charm. Overall, this is a stunning hotel in a prime location, but improving the breakfast and rooftop experience could elevate it to the next level."

Great location

"The room was spotless, spacious and quiet. The bed was comfortable. There was a walk in, powerful shower. We had breakfast, which had a nice selection of bread and rolls. Cheese's, ham and salmon. There was fresh fruit and yoghurt. The staff at the hotel were friendly and the hotel was a great central location with the bus station just across the road. The old town was beautiful and within walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel."

Yet another super stay

"We recently enjoyed a wonderful 5-day stay at Boutique Hotel Cordial La Peregrina and couldn't be happier with our experience. The staff are exceptionally friendly and go above and beyond to ensure a smooth stay. Upon arrival, we encountered a mixed booking issue and were missing one night, but the team handled everything seamlessly. To our delight, they even arranged for us to stay in the same room as last time, which made us feel right at home. A special thank you to Ovidia, who went out of her way to assist us in securing a doctor's appointment for my mum—her kindness and efficiency were truly appreciated. Roberto and Alexander were, as always, incredibly helpful, professional, and welcoming, making our stay all the more enjoyable. To top it all there is a super nice rooftop bar Rocktop at the hotel with an amazing atmo and attentive staff. This hotel is not only beautiful and well-maintained but also staffed with some of the kindest people we've met. We highly recommend Boutique Hotel Cordial La Peregrina and look forward to returning again soon."
