"Excellent location for bars, restaurants, castle. Hotel is a bit dated but for one night we didn’t mind. Very clean, our mattress a little too soft for my taste. Lovely duvet! I prefer the shower as opposed to the bath. Overall I would say that it’s a good hotel for a short stay. Concierge very efficient and professional."

"The Parkgate is the perfect place to get away from the world. The service is topnotch and the staff are always incredible and will always welcome you with a warm smile. The room service was aldo great and nothing was too much trouble. We had stayed in the Tower Suite and as always it was stunning, quiet and the perfect place to just quiet the mind. "The Cardiff Marriott hotel is a lovely hotel in a great position and with a secure car park. It also has an onsite restaurant, which served a delicious breakfast. However, the price of the drinks shocked us as we were charged £14 for one glass of white wine! The room was good although exceptionally warm with a very loud fan, which we couldn’t leave on during the night due to the noise from it. We could also have done with some more shelves to put clothes, toiletries, etc on. And final slight...
