Everytime this is a brilliant stay. The staff are always very welcoming and totally on point. I have to say Ryan was a true gent taking cases to the room that we had left there without ask and making check in even more seamless (who knew they could). Amazing as ever. Cannot fault the location, staff, or general vibe of hotel. Whilst all of your collegues we meet when we have stayed previously have honestly been amazing, Ryan was flawless: it’s sometimes hard to know what makes something ‘extra’ in a place so already brilliant but he has it. Disappointed that it wasn’t communicated on the booking page that the spa was closed for refurbishment. It’s very misleading in terms of sale. Why they felt the need to do this is beyond me

A lovely period building with a very grand entrance and well decorated room. Considering the cost, the breakfast, while very tasty, was let down by a hurried atmosphere. The front of house staff was run off his feet, there were delays in replenishing the breakfast and the fruit selection was poor. If this was a hotel of convenience I would understand but it is a premium hotel, with a premium price so this aspect was a little disappointing in an otherwise very comfortable stay.

A great hotel, lively and sophisticated vibe. Our room was beautiful and a spiral staircase down into a stunning bathroom. All fixtures and fittings were well thought out and tasteful. A very stylish hotel, more like 5* than 4*.
