"Nice to see an older hotel being given a bit of a face lift. Upgraded to executive room which was huge. Bed was a bit too firm for both of us but slept well otherwise. Room design flawed by aesthetics over practicality when it comes to mirrors at the desk which you can’t sit in front of as the mirror is off set and plug a fair distance from the bigger mirror so a bit of a faff."

"The staff go above and beyond at this hotel! They were so helpful with everything! We were also delighted to get a room with a bath, as we just have a shower at home, so a hotel always gets a bonus point from me for keeping their baths in use! The Copthorne is in a great location for the restaurants and pubs of Aberdeen. There is no onsite parking, but we got the train into town, so didn't need parking. The only thing I maybe didn't like so much about the room we had was the white paint and cool...

"The staff were lovely and polite, put us in a room on the first floor as the lifts weren’t working and were available via text message when we needed them. The room was spacious, clean and beds were comfortable. It is near a busy street so there was a lot of noise from outside but I’m a heavy sleeper so it didn’t bother me.
