There was nothing that we did not like about our stay! We decided to escape for one night, without the kids, to relax after a hectic Christmas and it did not disappoint. The room was very spacious, well laid out, and very clean. We had dinner in the main restaurant (Calders) and the food was exceptional, thank you to the chef and staff who welcomed and served us. We had the pleasure of using the newly refurbished spa facilities (apparently some work still to be done but we could not tell) and what a relaxing experience it was. An all round cosy comfortable stay for 2 busy parents, with fantastic customer service, and all that Carnoustie Golf Hotel has to offer. Thank you and we will be back

A warm welcome from the check in staff and then to find my room had a lovely view out over the golf course. The room was a junior suite. An exceptionally comfy bed, a large rain shower, a huge sofa, and a Nespresso machine were among the facilities on offer. Breakfast was served in Calder’s bistro. I got a lovely table by the window and my order was taken quickly and arrived equally quickly. Fantastic pancake stack with blueberries and maple syrup. The only blight on the horizon was the toast machine. It cremated my toast - twice. However, a staff member was quick to sort things out for me. All in all a superb stay.

Reception staff welcoming, good customer service.Very comfortable spacious room/bathroom. Nespresso machine in room. Quality toiletries & furnishings. Spa facilities being refurbished so lower rate for room which made it even better value for upmarket room. Central position close to golf course, town centre & beach. Ample free parking. Wish I was staying more than one night !!

A great stay to celebrate our anniversary. Staff were welcoming and very helpful. The food was fab, the restaurant not too busy and was very comfortable. We upgraded to a junior suite which was a wee bit of luxury for us.

The hotel is going theough a refit and the downstairs areas which have been done were great. The room was very tired but the bed comfortable so no real issue. The biggest criticism was no wi-fi coverage in the room which these days is a given. Was told there were "issues with the wi-fi provider" but this is such an easy fix in a modern construction building, there is no excuse. Wi fi in the bar was fine but as i had TEAMS meetings i couldnt do them from there. Otherwise, staff were excellent and the food was also pretty good. If they could just sort the wi fi i would definately stay again.
