road works at the entrance to the property meant that you had to take a very involved detour to access the hotel after 7:00pm. Extremely inconvenient. No warning of this was given at the time of booking. The road works are continuing until at least March of 2025.

It was just a fleeting visit, but the staff were lovely, the room was clean and the bed extremely comfortable. I take occasional trips to Dundee and will definitely stay there again, and spend some more time actually in and around the hotel.

I would have given this property 5 stars if it didn't have a restaurant, it is so bad that it is dragging everything down. I hate giving negative views but I feel it necessary on this occasion because, without a car, you have no option but to eat the hotel food. The breakfast was a practical exercise in how NOT to cook breakfast. The bacon and sausages were undercooked (microwaved, I expect), scrambled eggs overcooked and watering, fried eggs like frisbies, haggis and black pudding dried out, mushrooms cold, in fact everything was cold. The restaurant, the plates, even the machine dispensed coffee was cold. So were the staff. They were so unlike the staff in every other aspect of this hotel that it wouldn't surprise me if the restaurant was a different company to the rest of the hotel. I feel sorry for the restaurant staff, they must feel so ashamed that their talents are going to waste here. The rooms, public areas and pool areas were immaculately clean and I didn't find any signs of worn out or dated areas, as others have mentioned, it really is a lovely hotel. It just needs a talented, properly trained chef to bring life back to the restaurant

Lots of roadworks going off around the hotel . Night work. Road doesn't open until 7 am and the detour seems miles. Foods average.waiter service good. Could do with some money spending on it . Not bad though . The price is good but the restaurant prices are a rip off for what you get .

The rooms do not have air-conditioning and the windows are locked. This doesn't seem like a safe option for residents. There should be some kind of fire and safety guide about the windows. Also, there is no ventilation and people cannot be locked in a small room no circulating air especially when asleep. Do something about this!

Nice at reception very helpful. The room I booked was spacious and quiet. Comfortable beds and the room was clean. Could do with a coat of fresh paint. Amenities are good . Could do with leaving a couple of bottles of water in the room. I booked for two people but only got tea and biscuits for one. Overall though nice hotel and good prices. Wife wasn't happy 😳

Ageing property, but overall comfortable stay. Kids enjoyed the small pool, though the changing rooms were a bit grubby. Gardens were beautiful and good fun for the kids. Nice big comfy bed.

BEWARE!!! During my recent 2 night stay at The Landmark Hotel Dundee, I encountered several fundamental issues that you should consider before choosing to stay at this facility. Firstly I booked the hotel because it had a pool. The pool was closed for the entirety of my stay. One member of staff suggested I fill the bath tub up instead!!! Secondly, there were MAJOR roadworks right outside the hotel. This caused a 30 minute detour of 9.2 miles down single track roads. The hotel claimed to advise patrons in advance but nobody staying there had been warned of this. The staff were unsympathetic about this. Thirdly, little things such as bins overflowing around the entrance, smokers congregating around the foyer, long trek to my room, and noise from the roadworks at night all added to an unhappy stay! I have been trying to obtain a partial refund due to the pool being close as i would not have booked this hotel had I know, but both Expedia and The Landmark are refusing to acknowledge their shortfalls. In fact Expedias responses all seem AI computer generated so I am contacting my card issuer to claim my refund. The Landmark Hotel does have potential but needs to provude services as advertised and be more sympathetic towards cystomers when things go wrong! BEWARE!

It was a good property but the food was mediocre for the price. Breakfast food always- “ready in 5”. As it is a bit out of the way- too bad food wasn’t great. Side note- one morning there was no water - but if you want drinking water- go buy at the bar! Honestly, give your guests a bottle of water at least!

The property is fine. The rooms are small and somewhat dated. The staff were friendly and helpful. The roundabout infront of the hotel is undergoing major construction and it will be like that for the next year. They close the road at night infront of the hotel. The restaurant food is good but the nenu is limited, as is the bar selections.
