"I didn't want to leave. Don't make me go back to the real world! OK, it's not cheap, so there is that, but it is value for money, worth it if you can afford it. Gorgeous room with a huge balcony overlooking the swimming pool and the sea beyond. Walk along the waterfront and past the cidadela to Cascais centro, all of its restaurants and bars and shops. The staff is universally well-motivated and well-trained. Room service is fast and professional. Breakfast is outstanding. WiFi could be a little better, but that's a quibble. This is an outstanding hotel. "

"The hotel car exceeded our expectations. The photos on hotels.com and the hotels own website don't do it justice, particularly the bathrooms which all have waterfall style showers. It's a short walk to the sea shore too which should be made more of. The only area of improvement for us would be the addition of a bar or sale of alcohol "

"Lovely room with a balcony overlooking the marina. You're looking through the castle's crenelations, because you are in an old fort. Bathroom lighting is a bit much, but it's clean. The location could not be better. The staff were universally competent and friendly, eager to please. There is quite a large lobby with easy chairs, chess tables, books, and a bar that also serves food. Again, staff were excellent. Breakfast was first class. In short a well-run, well-staffed, very pretty hotel in a perfect location. Note: There is another Pestana hotel in Cascais which is very definitely not this one. "
