"Property is at the top of a hill but does mean you get some stunning views. Was perfect for us as we didn’t leave too much and have to hike up again, there is grocery stores accessible without going down. Kitchen facilities were great, although there was sometimes a queue for the bathroom as showers are not separate. The rooms were great although quite hot as no AC. Communication with staff was great online and we didn’t see very much of them."

"We arrived at the hotel a day late due to a flight cancellation and the front desk staff could not have been more warm and welcoming after what became nearly a 48 hour journey for my sister and me. They actually upgraded us to a sea view room at their newly renovated sister hotel which is right next door. MH Hotel Varazze. "The owners were very nice and the food was excellent. The room was nice however we were disappointed with the bathroom. We expected a jacuzzi tub, but the jets didn’t work in the tub. A short stroll to the bay of Portofino where all the action is on the waterfront. The staff were so friendly and kind, they really took great care of us.
