"Unbelievably stunning setting. You will need to be a confident driver to manage the roads up to the house as the roads are steep and winding as you would expect in Tuscany. The smell of Jasmine and the natural peaceful surrounding beauty is amazing. We used the pool everyday and enjoyed a bbq too. We loved the little lizards, flamboyant butterflies and stargazing at night. There is a great cafe about 29 minutes walking up the hill with a lovely atmosphere and a small local shop to get essentials...

"The small house is in a secluded spot with fantastic views of Castiglione and the mountains, both from the terrace as well as the bedroom. The outdoor pool and jacuzzi were a really nice addition. The owners welcomed us with traditional food and wine, which was very unexpected but very welcome when we arrived in the late afternoon. They also provided us with a lot of recommendations regarding both restaurants and fun things to do in the area. We highly recommend the house and plan to be back. "

"The property is amazing, loads of space for 4 adults, comfortable and the views are fantastic. The pool was wonderful and Mirko (the property manager) was friendly and helpful. We didn’t have hot water in one of the showers at first, but he fixed the issue relatively quickly. The only downside is the track to the house. It is steep and very bumpy. We were aware of this but even so, the drive was not for the faint hearted!"

From opening the windows to the views over to the Apuan Alps first thing in the morning to watching the sun go down below the mountains in the evening, we enjoyed every day we spent here. Abbiamo trascorso 4 giorni immersi nella natura accompagnati dai suoi meravigliosi suoni, un posto ideale per liberarsi dei ritmi frenetici della vita cotidiana. "Had a wonderful stay at the villa in Castiglione di Garfagnana. The villa is spacious, very clean, relaxing, and has quite a few activities to do on the property. The views overlooking the property were fantastic and the pool was great. There's also a few small football goals, darts, bocce, volleyball, and more. Communication with the owner was very good as well whenever we needed him and definitely recommend going to Il Pozzo for dinner in town one night. We couldn't walk into town...
