"Coimbra is a very busy city with a lot of traffic that clearly creates ongoing parking challenges and general congestion. The property itself is hard to access but once you’re in, is quite good. We were upgraded to a junior suite which was excellent with a particularly good bathroom. "I book this property because I needed an over night stay during my road trip through Portugal. My only regret not staying longer. Staff: Friendly, nice and very accommodating. Accommodations: the property has a unique design with a full service restaurant on the roof. The rooms are just pictured and surprisingly comfortable. Location: Central right by the bridge with shops and sights literally around the corner. Back to the food… I had one of the BEST shrimp dishes I’ve ever had in my life. I’m embarrassed to say it was so good I literally order two of them. Don’t let the concept of the hotel deter you. I had a very enjoyable stay and would stay there again in a heartbeat. "
