"My family and I had a wonderful stay at York cottage. There are several cottages so it felt like a tiny hamlet. Having access to the beautiful hotel grounds was a bonus, especially with having our dog with us. Inside the property was decorated and furnished to a very high standard. The only thing I would say though is that it is very difficult to load and unload...Church St car park was packed so we had to use the Abbey car park which is a gruelling up/downhill slog for the less fit/able. "This is the second time we have stayed at the marine hotel and yet again we couldn’t complain. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms are very nice and the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast is also very nice and there is plenty to choice from, also the hotel is just across the road from the beach and all the bars and restaurants are all close by. It is safe to say we will be staying yet again and a bonus is that the car parking is free and there’s plenty of spaces. "
