"My family (2 adults, 3 teen boys) stayed here for half of our time in St. Lucia. We chose it because we wanted to rent a house from which we could explore the northern part of the island. Long story short, we had a nice time here. The villa was clean and very close to the beach. The check in/check out process was easy. All-in-all, it was as advertised. As somebody else mentioned, the layout is a little funky. The 3 bedrooms and baths are in one "wing" of the house and the kitchen and living room are in a different wing with their own lock. We rented a car and did our own driving. I will note that the rush hour traffic in the Castries and between the Castries and Rodney Bay can be really bad. I tried to drive into town one morning to pick up some coffees and breakfast to bring back to the villa and that turned into a lengthy ordeal. Parking is also difficult in the center of the Castries. We visited a lot of beaches on the island and found Vigie Beach to be quite charming and one of our favorites. It's much less touristy than others. You can get a rum punch for 10ECD instead of 20USD. All in all, we'd stay here again."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Bel Jou. The hotel is lovely and we really enjoyed the amazing views. Room was clean, with comfortable bed and air conditioning. Staff were very friendly, kind and Princess at the bar makes the best margaritas and is always so helpful. The food is really good as well and there are plenty of options for dining. It's also convenient that the hotel provides a shuttle and chairs at the beach, as well as a shuttle into town. Would definitely recommend and come back here. "
