"An amazing location directly on the shoreline with great views and a virtually private beach. My only advice would be to strongly recommend hiring a car as access to local facilities is awkward without transport. Taxis aren’t cheap but are convenient. We would also recommend spending some days at the sister property La Douphine Estate located on Cocoa Plantation but very close to all tourist attractions near Pitons and beaches. "

"My husband and I spent a week at Bel Jou for our honey moon. We both wanted something quiet, but with optional activities to intersperse throughout the day. Everything we read about Bel Jou was the right fit for us and while we love a good band (they had many while we were there), we didn’t want a big night life for this trip. The staff really make it special. Andrea and Princess made us feel welcome every day at meals and by the cabana, Mikey was a great first impression when we arrived, Shanel was our favourite person to see every morning, we often sat in Verkesa’s section at dinner as her service is friendly and delightful, and Jahfree was lovely to run into at the hotel! I am missing so many more but everyone puts in a big effort to make even the rainy days a real pleasure. The drinks (cocktails and mocktails) are fantastic, food always a hit, room is clean and comfortable. The two pools are a great asset and one is always warm from the sun for a swim. Thank you!"

"Overall I would recommend this property if you are like me and don’t do resorts and all inclusive. The studio apartment worked well for me and had an excellent view. Clean and comfortable with a functional kitchen should you want to dine in. There was a bit of a drive to and from the airport however I was met by a gentleman who I came to appreciate as he was very helpful and looked out for me during my stay. Other than the property being on a busy street, I would give it a 9 out of 10. I will go back again and stay at this property. "

"Resort is beautifully maintained, pleasant and cheerful staff, plenty of space everywhere (suite, restaurants, beach), upscale friendly guests, amazing food and drinks, crystal clear ocean (no waves), jet skiing, sunsets…we had all we could wish for in Landings! One small suggestion - a new restaurant Suri has a lot of potential, all is great there except food itself, not sure what it was but definitely not Asian fusion cuisine; perhaps a new chef is in order. Other than that, absolutely the place to visit again a year from now."
