Holiday Homes in Catalina Island

"Excellent location just a short walk from the ferry dock. The layout of the home was perfect for three couples. We each had our own bedroom with a comfortable bed. The home has some of the best views on the island! We enjoyed walking to the grocery store and staying in one night to cook in the well stocked kitchen and sit on the patio in the warm sunshine. The owners were quick to respond to questions and left little treats on the pillows and staples in the kitchen. We really appreciated...

"The place is very nice- beds are comfortable and the kitchen is updated. It was easy check-in and conveniently located. There were however two things that made it less than 5 stars: 1- the sheets in the master king bedroom were covered in dog hair and also some human hair so had to lay down another sheet that we found in a closet over top to sleep the first night. The property mgmt group sent over housekeeping to fix this the next morning which was nice, but there was no apology or follow up...

"We were very pleased with our stay. The view of the harbor was amazing. Very accessible to the to shopping and dining in Avalon. The golf cart that comes with the unit had issues...gas fumes and lights did not work. The owners were responsive and gave us the use of another golf that belonged to their other in it that was not being used.was not very safe. Gas fumes and l"

"My family and I had a great stay at Trout House! Perfect location, close enough to everything but far enough away for a quiet stay. Beds were comfy, used the very functional kitchen. The place is rustic but everything works well, awesome water pressure and love the history of the house. Great deck for relaxing after a day of exploring. We would definitely stay again!"

"The place was in a good location, plenty of space inside and a tiny outdoor patio with grill. Communication with the owner was great, and checkin was easy. The downsides were that nothing for the beach is provided- no beach towels, chairs, etc. The beds were pretty hard. No A/C but many fans were available. Also no shampoo or soap aside from hand soap is provided. But all around ok for an Avalon property. "

"Great place to stay with the family. Older unit but fully equipped. Carpet could use a good cleaning but over all well kept. Great location. Walking distance to everything. Washer and dryer is a plus. "
