"A bizarre experience… Wasn’t able to actually stay at this property as I never received check-in instructions from the host. Unfortunately the host read and ignored my messages and emails as well as communications from the property manager (they weren’t much help either), for reasons unknown. Luckily hotels.com stepped in and gave me a full refund + a voucher for compensation."

"Wonderful place with very separate bedrooms and bathroom choices for a large adult and children group! We couldn’t get over the cutest of the place and the hot cocoa maker. The host was super responsive and we had a great family reunion at this location. "

"Good size flat, 2 bedrooms, one very spacious, other compact but comfortable. Nice shower in bathroom. Great to have hairdryers, plenty of stuff for cooking and an iron. It was very warm in the flat so the fans provided were much appreciated. 10 ish minute walk to Maryland tube station, then 30 minutes to central London. Great takeaways locally, shops close by. All convenient. Host very helpful, good communication and useful tips prior to stay. Easy check in via lockbox."

"Such a beautiful stay at the Staycation Maldon. Very nice location at the heart of the high trees. The suite was very beautifully decorated for Christmas and this really made it very special. Spacious rooms with kitchen made it super convenient and comfortable. Aircon/Heating unit in every room was super required due to the cold weather. My wife and I loved it and for sure will be back again 100% recommend!"

"I was extremely surprised. This was a hidden gem! I was surprised it was equipped with all amenities; kettle, toaster, microwave, dining seating as well as a 2-ring stove. A really lovely accommodation, we were taken aback. The property owner was lovely, pleasant and friendly, he really took the time to show us where everything was. "This is a gorgeous penthouse suite overlooking the Thames in Woolwich. We loved eating at the nearby Dial Arch and The Guard House Pubs. Good food and atmosphere. "Lovely property! Gorgeous decor! Rooms were spacious and very modern. Clean and good attention to detail. Only criticism is it would have been nice to be welcomed to a bottle of water or two in the room, especially to be able to make some tea/coffee in the morning. WiFi was also a bit slow. Could search just fine but calls weren’t good quality if planning to work. Overall good would stay again. "

"Amazing stay at MOXY Stratford. Staff is very cool and friendly. It is more than a Hotel ! You can drink, work, play games all the night with fun music background. Confort is good, rooms are clean and well maintained. Stratford is full or restaurants near where you can eat till late night. There are EU sockets for European travellers in the room and USB ports ready to use also, no need for adaptées (althrough in our room, 2 USB ports near the bed were not working). Prices at the bar are correct, and pizzas are really good ! Stratford station is at 2 minutes walking away from the hotel, and deserves the most stations (Jubilee, Central, Circle and more). Westfield shopping center is 2 minutes walking too (shopping to room is made easy, of course !) Hope to come back soon 👌"

"The staff couldn’t be more welcoming and friendly! Was so happy with the convenience of being near a Coop and the restaurant/bar nearby. Was able to have a delicious meal there one evening. The room was spacious, clean and well equipped with everything I needed. There wasn’t any noise from the other rooms apart from the doors slamming occasionally. The hotel in general was very quiet. Am definitely booking to stay here again whilst I am working in the area. Very happy! "

"Approxiamtely 14 minute walk from the nearest tube Barking. But you can pick up taxis which is a 5 minute drive. Reception service was quick and prompt. Room was compact but clean and tidy. Room soundproof. Although next to main road once window was closed very quiet. Had a good nights sleep. Continential breakfast is available and drinks obtained via reception."
