"From checking in at the bar you know that the quality of the room is going to be of a good standard as the pub itself is very nice modern but still classic feel of a country pub. Ate in the pub 1st night of the stay and food was a very standard and reasonably priced for the quality. Only slight negative we had was that although it’s in a quiet village a lot of traffic seems to come through it and can be heard in the accommodation. "Lovely, perfect, comfortable, refreshing, wonderful....except, room 1 is over the kitchen, so you hear and feel the kitchen extractor fan that gets switched off about 23:00 and on again at 07:30. Lovely breakfast too. Excellent fruit platter. Every meal was excellent there."
