"We had an enjoyable stay. The staff were helpful in sorting out an issue with obtaining programmes on the TV. Excellent breakfasts and comfortable rooms. We had an issue with car parking on arrival - does it have to be so very complicated? After a long tiring journey the last thing you need is to be messing with a parking apps on your phone, giving information etc. My Iphone won't even let me download the app. We have been caught out before on parking so are extremely careful now, but it seems an unecessary hassle. Wouldn't mind a bit extra on the cost without having to pay daily parking. I realise that the car park is probably managed separately from the hotel, but it is mainly for the hotel's clients."

"Great spa facilities. Extensive picturesque grounds for golfing . We enjoyed a relaxing swim followed by a lovely dinner. We were lucky to have had great weather to enjoy the beautiful grounds for a summer evening stroll. We could not fault the breakfast, lots of choices and variety of options for every taste and the waiting staff were so attentive. A thoroughly enjoyable stay. "

"Great stay in Oxford. The location is a short walk from the city centre and an even shorter walk to the historic Oxford Castle. The staff were very pleasant and helpful any time I had questions. The only downside is occasionally I did get a distant whiff of sewage if the bathroom door was left open. (I blame that on the age of the building.)"
