"Things that were disappointing and Americans may appreciate knowing before booking: - directions wrong on VRBO app-Bars, padlocks on doors and windows (made sense later but wish we knew before or at arrival because it felt scary the first night)-holes in screens letting bugs and ants in and sliding door had to close because hole was big enough for small animals at night- 100’s of tiny bugs inside, bought spray and killed- no water pressure in shower, took a long time to heat up-loud water pump noise will startle you if you don’t know about it-deadbolt hard to use-no toilet paper in toilet, use bucket-couch is VERY stained, dining chairs are metal and peel off on legs, no comfy seats inside-outside has two lounges, 4 very hard sitting chairs w/o cushions, no other seats as described-back wall to beach is rubble that you must climb over if you can, also makes yard not fenced inLots of garbage on beach-“cute town” is FULL of garbage, beer cans and broken bottles-no golf-banana tree ?-messaged host tues & wed, responded Fri-TV not working in bedroom-not sure who to communicate with for helpGOOD STUFF-beautiful pool-ocean was lovely with a sandbar - locals were very friendly and welcoming -felt safe after getting further info like /bars are so you can leave windows open at night-good restaurants close by-can book many excursions-enjoyed fishing-beautiful Dec weather-when we did talk with property manager he was very helpful and nice-US goes far"
