"I enjoyed my three night stay here. I would stay again if I’m in the area again. Friendly staff and owner. Room is nice and high ceilings which I like. Newly reno and smells wonderful inside. It was too cold to swim but pool and jacuzzi are on the grounds. Safe and comfortable. "

"I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights then I rebooked it for another 2 nights it came with breakfast which it could be improved a little better with bacon or ham, overall it was a very nice stay also there is a small shopping Plaza there, I would stay there again highly recommend "

"It’s a small hotel run almost like a family operation. Everybody had a smile on their face and made every effort to make our stay wonderful. You could hear the waves crashing on the beach through out the day and night, hotel is like 10m from the beach. Breakfast was made from scratch every morning, wonderful. Dinner choices in the evening were also delicious. I give our stay a 10 , exceeded expectations"

"We had an amazing time here. Everything was perfect from the food, service, atmosphere, & weather. The beaches were nice and well maintained. The room was clean and comfortable. The food was great, especially the jerk chicken off the grill- some of the best I had. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I recommend to anyone wondering about staying here "

"The included Nanny's for your stay are amazing!! Shout out Cynthia and Dennicia!! They were the best! The resort is a little older and could use some updates. But, with that said; Everything else was absolutely amazing. I cannot say enough positive things about the food, the service, the staff, the availability of activities (interactive or self led). Everybody was so friendly and helpful with our kids (we came with tour 1 year old twins and our 5 year old daughter). The staff works very hard to ensure everybody is enjoying their stay. The owner and his son even came by while we were eating a few times during our stay to check in with us and see how things were going. This is just not something you find at a large corporate run resort. By the time you leave you really start to feel part of the FDR family, you know the staff by their names and they know your whole family's names as well! We met multiple people who had visited multiple times and I must say we are definitely already looking to come back! Thank you FDR and everybody there for making our first real vacation as a family of five a memorable one! We'll hopefully see you all next year with some of our friends and their kids! "

"My partner and I stayed here. We had a great time at the resort. It just wasn’t a long enough stay unfortunately. I got a sun burn the day before we went to the spa. They definitely took care of it more than I ever would’ve thought to. This resort was a great place to stay. We do recommend booking a flight to Ocho rios, unless you don’t mind the two hour drive from Montego Bay international airport. "
