"I've loved the sweet little cabin I stayed in with my dog. Loved having a fully equipped kitchen after motel stays elsewhere. The staff and owners were welcoming and accommodating when I needed to prolong my stay. The place is imbued with the history of a late 1800's mining town while being close to hikes out of the Steamboat Lake Visitor Center. Awesome landscapes and mountains. Highly recommend."

"Perfect place to stay for a family of 4 plus 2 small dogs! Perfect size, great location, very peaceful! Unit was very cute and functional. We loved being able to walk down to the river right behind our unit and being out of town closer to Steamboat Lake was great for what we wanted to do during our visit. We greatly enjoyed our stay!"

"Beautiful setting with lots of room between the cabins gave the place a nice feeling of solitude. The people there were also very nice. The cabin was nicely equipped and the bed was comfortable. If I had one complaint it would be that the cabin needs more windows that opened with screens…more air flow would have helped. overall, though, I would highly recommend it."

"We visited in March and loved the price compared to other options closer to steamboat. The cabin was the perfect size for our family of four. It was like a 90s throwback but in the best way possible. Cabin was SO clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Appreciated that we could bring our furry family members too. "This was a great overflow option as the place we normally stay (The Outpost) for our annual snowmobile trip was booked. The rustic cabins were just that and worked great for what we needed. The shower house & restrooms were very clean and nice. Great experience and we'll be back again!"
