"Loved the location, layout and design of property. I would have given it 5 stars, exceptfor the fact that the sofa bed mattress was covered with dog hair and filth from outside. There was also a spot under the sofa of dog barf/pee that needs to be cleaned up. Otherwise, we absolutely loved the place. The deck over river was so nice. I do think their homeowners association really needs to clean up the exterior of the building, and do a total paint job,. Why pay hoa fees if some doesn't go...

"We spent a girls’ weekend at this beautiful cottage in the Highlands. Located a short walk to Mirror Lake, the leaves were in full bloom making the outdoor areas even more enjoyable. The cottage was spotless clean and everything was in great working order. Despite being just a short drive to all the area’s amenities, attractions and restaurants, it was like we were alone in the wilderness. The folks at Evolve were fantastic to deal with…a special thanks to Bee! Bravo!"

"There is nothing more relaxing than walking into a cabin and noting how clean and well-apportioned the place is. From making our reservation to our stay to our eventual departure, the hosts made sure we were well taken care of, and that care allowed us to enjoy the Helen GA area...the shops, restaurants, sights, local trails, and other attractions. "This is a truly Hidden Gem! Everything about the cabin was exceptional…cleanness the communication with the property owners. Once we got there, we felt at home. The experience has been phenomenal with everything about the town and cabin. "

We will almost certainly be coming back in the future. Fair warning! It’s only walking distance to town if you don’t mind ending your day with a long, very steep hill back up to the cabin. The location was perfect, a mile from downtown Helen. The hot tub was spotless & the cabin was well stocked. The only negative that I can say about this cabin was there are no TVs in the upstairs bedrooms and there’s no icemaker. Both are a huge deal but just something to know. "This property was awesome for a large gathering. There was something for everyone: pool and hot tub, outdoor games like volleyball spike ball, horseshoes, and corn hole, indoor games like foosball, table tennis, and a dozen board games, quiet corners and outdoor patios for reading, and a big kitchen with 2 dining areas for everyone to come together. "Im going to be straight forward- if you are looking for a Hilton style- keep looking. If you want to be right at the edge of all the hustle and bustle of town, it's a great pick. The price was great for our 4 nights.It was clean, but we did have a stained pillow case that was immediately taken care of by the front desk. It is an older building and they have done some renovations but the walls are a bit thin. Wasn't an issue for us. The water pressure is AMAZING and the hotel supplied toiletries, coffee and coffee pot, a mini fridge and a microwave. Bed was comfortable. We will definitely stay again. "

"Lovely staff at check in and handled our noise complaint without question. Apparently the kids above us thought it was WWE most of the night. Rooms are fine. Bathrooms are fine. Everything is a bit dated, but when you just came out of their Oktoberfest month you can't expect things to be perfect. No bugs or mold seen in our room. Beds comfy."
