"It was incredible at the Hillcrest. Martha and her family were so lovely and cared for us immensely. We were lucky to be there for the night when there were no other guests in the mansion, so we had the entire place to ourselves, and all of Martha's incredible hospitality. She whipped us up an incredible three course dinner at a moment's notice, and the breakfast the next morning was divine. "We were in town for our son’s wrestling tournament and booked this place since some of our friends were staying here too. Honestly, we almost canceled when we first walked in. The lobby felt really old and rundown, and the elevators were sketchy, we used them once and stuck to the stairs after that. There’s also some construction going on, which didn’t help the first impression. Surprisingly, the room itself was actually pretty nice, better than what we expected based on the rest of the hotel....
