"Our stay was okay. The house was in an excellent location to the beach, however very difficult to find from the road. The house was a great size & the beds were so comfortable. I rate this with a 3 because I felt like there were several things that desperately need updated. The faucets in the bathroom were heavily rusted and leaking. "We came to visit our son who just returned from deployment and his family. We just hung out mostly at the house. There was plenty of room for our little ones to play and run around. I wouldn’t say it’s the most young child friendly with all the pretties and niceties all around. Our toddlers understand don’t touch so we were fine. Beautiful property and location on the lake. Chuck was great, and we hardly saw him. Interesting guy to talk to. He always had coffee ready in the mornings....

"Great vacation. Property was very nice although the woods side bedroom’s TV didn’t respond well to the remote. Remote may need new batteries. Also, the deadbolt on the adjoining suite door kept unlatching. Looks like the bracket that the deadbolt locks into was missing. Neither was an issue to us but thought you might want to know. The management did push for a session to pitch a timeshare but took no for an answer. Thanks for the heads up. Nice property on a nice trip. "

"We stayed this past week with our two dogs, and it was a wonderful family vacation. We stayed in the Blacksmith Cottage, which was fully-furnished with everything we needed. The kitchen was clean and well-stocked with pots and pans, and the oven and fridge were great to have. The bathroom was clean and comfortable. "Everything in the listing was exactly as shown. Check in and check out were simple and easy. Property manager was in contact and inquired of our needs. We didn't have any becuase the house was well stocked, but based on all other parts of the stay, I assume that would be handled efficiently. The highway is close, so there is quite a bit of road noise outside, but the sound is minimal once inside the house. We wpuld definitely stay here again."
