"Very clean! Staff was helpful and professional. Space was cozy, perfect for solo business travel. Loved the rooftop even in the winter it was a nice retreat to get a little work done. 4 not 5 stars just because the lever to drain the sink didn’t work so that backed up really quickly and the phone didn’t work either-had to call in the morning to request late check out(which they accommodated). But there’s complementary water on every floor and espresso, would stay again! Great value "

"I love this hotel--the staff is professional and friendly and responsive, and the location is great. This time, though, it was really cold in NY, and the heater was hard to set. The hotel sent an engineer to address the issue--worked--but he had to come back the next day. Still--I will stay again."

"Two blocks from Gr Cent Station. Easy walk. This hotel is fantastic. The largest room I have ever had in NYC. And it had a walk-in closet. The hotel was just perfect."

"I stayed at the Jewel in late January 2025. It was a great little hotel in a good location. It was very clean and quiet. Staff was nice and helpful. I liked the free coffee/espresso machine. They also have free refillable chilled water on each floor right by the hotel rooms. I will for sure be staying here again! "

"Stayed here two nights for business. The place was clean and comfortable and easily accessible, which is what I really need. Some wear and tear in the room but nothing significant. While it was nice that the "breakfast" was brought directly to your room in the morning, the food left something to be desired if you're looking for something hearty. I suggest getting your breakfast elsewhere."
