"The space was ample. The best part about it is the screened in kitchen and dining area. The beach is not far and there are grocery stores and vegetable shops a minute away. We had a bumpy start which was resolved only after 21/2 hours on the phone with VRBO. The owner charged us for an extra night. This caused confusion and inconvenience to our host who was led to believe that we were arriving a day earlier than we had agreed upon. Additionally, the owner miscalculated the overall cost and did not communicate that until we were already staying in the place. He then laid blame that I had not noticed his error. I ended up overpaying and trusting that he would return the amount of overpayment, which ,to his credit, he did along with an apology. Maybe just pay attention to the details of your transaction to avoid this happening again. Also the amenities listed were not accurate. During the above mess VRBO sited the owner for violations and he adjusted the amenity listing. There is no laundry on site. There were no functional bikes on site. Now there is one that works well and needs air after each ride. It made so much difference to have a bike here! None of the small basic amenities like there usually is in VRBO’s. No soap in kitchen or bathroom, no bags in garbage, less than half a roll of TP. All that said, the space itself was good and our time here was wonderful!"
