"My stay at the kings Head was largely very satisfactory. You will no doubt be aware that the Inn is in need of serious renovation and has been for a number of years. The food was excellent at all times both for Breakfast and the evening meals that I had over a 2 night stay. Possibly one of the best pies I've ever tasted. The Abbott Reserve Ale on offer was a very welcome bonus at £3.00 a pint. The staff were all friendly and helpful throughout my stay and made me feel very welcome to be staying....

"A very attractive hotel with good facilities and beautifully decorated for Christmas. Bar and catering service both very good and the evening meal and breakfast were both good. Would certainly use again."
